The finals for this year’s Rising Star Awards have been released, and once again it’s fantastic news for Vidett, with two of the team in contention!
This year there are 14 categories designed to celebrate all of the talent in our pensions industry. The first of our nominees – Shay Owode is up for ‘Rising Star of the Year’ and ‘Mentor of the Year’. On his nominations, Shay said: “I am really humbled to be nominated for two Rising Star Awards alongside some industry heavyweights and outstanding emerging talent. I was not expecting a nomination this early on in my pensions career, so I am most grateful to whoever nominated me and to everyone that has supported my career development thus far. From current colleagues to former colleagues and the array to talented individuals across the pensions industry that I get to collaborate with, and learn from, on a daily basis – thank you!”
Also up for an award, is Sophia Harrison – who makes the final five up for ‘Trustee of the Year’, On her nomination, she commented: “It has certainly been an eventful start to my career as a professional trustee – so I am delighted to be shortlisted. Congratulations to all the other finalists and huge thanks to the amazing team at Vidett for all the encouragement and support they have given me!”
