Co-Chief Executive
funding negotiations • investment strategy
multi-scheme investment committees • trustee effectiveness
Wayne is our co-chief executive at Vidett, and a hugely experienced professional trustee, sole trustee and trustee board chair.
Background
Wayne joined the team in 2005, as chief executive officer of one of our founding companies: Punter Southall Governance Services, who went on to merge with 20-20 Trustees to become Vidett. During his career, he has worked on many high-profile trustee appointments, and has been involved in several industry initiatives, whilst being a regular speaker at industry events.
Wayne’s career in pensions started in 1990 with Prudential, in the specialist area of small self-administered schemes. This saw him working on direct pension scheme investments, which he continued in his role with Alexander Clay & Partners; working with larger occupational pension schemes, and also acting as secretary to the trustees, pensions manager and consultant roles on their international clients.
Before joining us in 2005, Wayne was a director of another trustee business. It’s here he was appointed by The Pensions Regulator to the failed MG Rover pension arrangements.
Wayne’s interests include boats, cars and motor bikes. Any other spare time is spent with George – his exuberant labradoodle!
