Simon joined us in 2022, however his pensions career originally began in 2005 as a pensions administrator for Xafinity Consulting, before he moved to Interserve PLC’s in-house group pensions department as a senior administrator. It’s here he looked after a defined benefit (DB) pension arrangement with several sections, acquisitions and mergers.
Previous employers for Simon include Trafalgar House Pensions Administration, where he gained practical experience as a business analyst, and the National Grid; where he became a change & systems integration analyst. This role saw him planning and delivering their change projects for the UK pensioners operations team.
In his spare time, Simon enjoys a good games night, or murder mystery weekend. He has also volunteered for the annual Pride festival in London, five years years in a row! This involved managing the recruitment, resourcing, communication and training of its 300+ volunteers.
