It was a double celebration for Vidett this week, as Professional Pensions named two of our team winners at one of the pension industry’s most prestigious evenings!

Becky Wood was named the Women in Pensions ‘Trustee of the Year’ after accolades including leading our Endgame Solutions team and helping set up the Endgame Perspectives Group, a collaborative industry group focused on shaping the future of pensions and driving innovation across the sector.

The celebrations didn’t end there, as Ben Salmons was announced the Rising Star Awards 2025 ‘Trustee of the Year’, following a year that saw him chairing a number of schemes, helping building our Endgame Solutions Conference and also growing our network in the north with the South Yorkshire Pensions Group.

Commenting on their wins, both were elated, with Becky saying:

“I’m beyond delighted to have received the Women in Pensions ‘Trustee of the Year Award’. It’s truly an honour to be part of such a vibrant and inspiring community, and to stand alongside so many remarkable women who are shaping the future of our industry. A massive congratulations to Ben Salmons on being named Rising Star ‘Trustee of the Year’ too, I can definitely say that was recognition he absolutely deserves!”

Ben was also thrilled:

The face of trusteeship is changing and this is clear from all the other great nominees in the category and Becky Wood winning the Women In Pensions equivalent as well.
