member cases • pension scheme administration • pension scheme governance • risk transfer
Nikhil joined us in 2022, where he is part of the governance work stream and heavily involved in our risk transfer projects.
Nikhil began his pensions career in 2015 with Willis Towers Watson as a pensions administrator. He worked on three big schemes, working on complex defined benefit calculations and member complaints.
From 2017 to 2018, Nikhil worked at Mercer on complex transfer cases, whilst also leading on many internal transfer projects, and also Kingfisher, where he specialised on transfer and death cases for their inhouse pension scheme. Prior to joining Vidett, Nikhil worked at the Pensions Ombudsman from 2019, where his main focus was centred on their member complaints (from private and public schemes including local government pension schemes and NHS). It’s here he encountered all sorts of topics, ranging from trustee fraudulent activity, to missing funds, and late/incorrect retirement/transfer calculations.
Outside of work, Nikhil recently became a new dad, so when not spinning baby-related plates, he’s found cheering on his beloved Manchester united fan, travelling or trying new restaurants!
