Nicola Pytlinski

People Operations Manager

people development • recruitment • stakeholder management

Nic joined our people services team at the beginning of January 2024, where she will be responsible for many things including the Vidett recruitment strategy, candidate experience and talent acquisition operations.

Background

Nic joined Markerstudy in 2012 and was proud to see the company grow from 500 to 6,500 staff during her time there, hiring between 800 to 1,000 new people a year on average. Her biggest achievements in the role included turning the hiring time around from 6 weeks to 14 days, improving the candidate response time from 14 days to 48 hours and supporting the business to become an employer of choice.

The majority of Nic’s career was spent at Vermelo RPO where she worked for over 10 years. Her most recent role there was as a talent acquisition manager, where she managed a team of 25 and was responsible for all recruitment activities across the group. This saw her working on everything from writing job descriptions, running assessment days, interview training; to the onboarding of new business, new technology implementations, cross functional projects and being a key point of contact for the senior management and executive team.

Before making the move over to Vidett, Nic had previously worked for MBK Search, where she ran their Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) division. This included managing all their HR, training and hiring for the team, as well as being responsible for both new and existing client relationships.

Outside of work, Nic loves spending time with her daughter and husband (including trips back to Poland to visit his side of the family), walking the dog along the coast, and has more recently been seen trying to get back into running!
