Matthew Wickett

With over 25 years’ experience in the pensions industry, a majority of Matthew’s career has seen him working in pensions administration for various advisory firms. It’s here he has built up a vast knowledge and skillset in both defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) schemes. Matthew’s other specialisms include guaranteed minimum pension (GMP) rectification, buy-ins and buyouts and other de-risking options, member communications, pensions management and Trustee secretarial duties.

Prior to joining us, Matthew worked at KPMG from 1997 in a pensions administration role, before moving to Deloitte Consulting in 2003 as their senior pensions administrator, and finally XPS as their administration manager in 2006.

Matthew brings a common-sense approach to all his work, alongside an eye for detail… but always has the pension scheme members’ best interests at heart.

In his spare time, Matthew enjoys going to the gym, riding his gravel bike, and spending quality time with his young family and his friends. He is also the Treasurer for the Wall Heath Parks group, whose mission is to improve the parks and green spaces in his local area.
