Joining us in the year 2000, Mark has built up a substantial portfolio of defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) trusteeships. He routinely works on covenant reviews, funding negotiations, investment strategy reviews, corporate transactions, liability reduction strategies, buyouts and scheme closures.
Starting his pensions career in 1984, Mark originally worked for a specialist pensions company providing consultancy support services in their marketing and consultancy team, before going on to work with both corporate sponsors and trustee boards.
Mark joined us from Aon, one of the UK’s leading benefit consulting firms. It’s there he was a senior consultant, whose role involved being a client relationship manager and lead pension consultant for progressively larger and more complex client appointments. He also undertook a number of managerial roles and led a variety of special projects.
Outside of work, Mark has many interests including his work for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme as an expedition assessor.
