Kate works in the pension protection fund team (PPF), taking schemes through the PPF assessment period to ensure they either transfer to the PPF or reach a suitable buy-out solution. She is a part of our internal defined contribution (DC) service line, helping to build up our DC offering, as well as being part of the internal outsourced pension service line and a member of our charity committee.

Background

Kate joined us in 2020 her responsibilities include meeting preparation, writing meeting minutes, liaising with legal advisers, scheme administrators and the PPF and supporting the scheme managers with budgeting and project work.

Beginning her pensions career in 2000 at NPI in the Customer Services Department, Kate has since worked in various roles with providers and with financial advisers.

Kate’s previous role was with Origen Financial Services Limited as a paraplanner working with independent financial advisers concentrating on writing suitability reports covering pensions, investments and protection for individual and corporate clients.

In her spare time, Kate enjoys travelling and gardening. She possesses a level 2 certificate in horticulture from the Royal Horticultural Society.
