Julia Palmer

With a career in pensions spanning over 25 years, Julia’s path to Vidett has seen her working in various roles, including third party administration teams dealing with cradle to grave administration at Arthur Anderson, SBJ Benefit Consultants, HSBC and Hewitt Associates. She then moved into a governance role as an associate consultant providing scheme secretarial support whilst at Hewitt Associates (now AON) in 2011.

A project consultant role followed at Hymans Robertson, which saw her dealing with project work including process improvements, administration guides and benefit specifications, data testing and cleansing and process audits. More recently, Julia worked as an audit specialist at Hymans Roberston from 2022, which saw her project managing and coordinating external audits, mainly AAF and PASA; and running internal self-audits.

In her spare time, Julia likes keeping active, with walks in the countryside and running featuring regularly. She also loves holidaying abroad, discovering the history and culture of new places. Any other time is spent cooking, baking, listening to music, going to concerts and visiting the theatre!
