Joining our new finance team in December 2023, Jacob looks after the implementation of our new accounting system, alongside the creation and adaptation of new processes and policies.

Background

Jacob’s career in finance has seen him work across a range of industries; starting as a client accountant at FISco UK Limited (facility services), before he became an assistant accountant at Acal BFi UK (electrical appliances and manufacturing).

Prior to life at Vidett, Jacob worked at the online car retailer Cinch as a management accountant. Here he did inventory management, accounts, cash flow and other ad-hoc financial planning and analysis work. During this time Jacob also gained his Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualifications.

Outside of work, Jacob loves keeping fit, so he can usually be found down the gym most mornings or playing football for his local Sunday league team: FC Showcase. He’s also a massive darts fan; having been to the last 3 world championships and playing it regularly at “an above average standard!”
