Fizza assists our trustee directors (TD) on Scheme matters, allowing them to concentrate on their trusteeship duties. Her responsibilities include providing relevant information to help TD’s make decisions, supporting with their day to day tasks in ensuring all projects are successfully managed and completed, as well as working collaboratively with Scheme advisers, and in-house teams to achieve the best outcomes for all parties involved.

Background

Fizza joined us in 2022, where her responsibilities include providing assistance to trustee directors, alongside manging day to day tasks, complex scheme cases and projects including buy-outs and wind-ups.

Beginning her pensions career in 2008 with Mercer, where Fizza joined the pensions administration team, before moving to the XPS Pensions Group administration team in 2011, then internally transferring to the consultancy team. Her duties included supporting trustee boards, improving Scheme governance, and helping develop member communications. Fizza has also organised several successful member open day events, demonstrating that she believes in the importance of strong member communication, particularly as the world of pensions becomes increasingly more complex.

Outside of work, Fizza enjoys watching movies, keeping fit (via tennis and attending spin classes), and loves problem solving, so can regularly be found taking on the challenges of escape rooms with family and friends.
