Chris acts as the professional trustee representative to a variety of defined benefit pension schemes, on both a ‘sole trustee’ and ‘co-trustee’ basis.

Background

Chris joined us in 2019 and has more than 25 years’ experience in the pensions sector. He has worked in roles dealing with technical support, as well as compliance and regulatory functions, before moving to a full-time position as a professional trustee.

Chris has had a number of professional trustee appointments, ranging from small defined benefit (DB) schemes (with assets of just a few million pounds), through to more complex hybrid arrangements (with assets in excess of £500m), and brings his ‘no nonsense’, ‘solutions driven’ approach to pension trusteeship.

In his spare time, Chris works as a senior examiner on the pension transfer paper, for the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Advanced Diploma qualification. Having once been a keen golfer with a handicap of 4, Chris still enjoys the odd ‘social’ game, and also loves watching his three children in their various sporting activities (including rowing and golf).
