Background
Catherine’s pension career started with overseeing the Northern Irish Police Pension Schemes and in-house administration of police injury awards, before joining the Ministry of Justice where she worked for over 6 years on the Judicial Pensions and Legal Services Commission Pension Schemes.
More recently, Catherine undertook the roles of contract and pension manager for the schemes, as well as directing secretarial and financial governance services. She has also led and been involved in a number of defined benefit (DB) projects including automatic enrolment, data cleansing, GMP equalisation and board/trustee chair appointments.
Outside of work, Catherine enjoys walking with her family and dogs, reading and yoga.
Qualifications
Professional Member, Pensions Management Institute (ProfPMI), PMI Certificates in Pension Calculations and Member Guidance, currently working towards Advanced Diploma in Retirement Provision (APMI), Law & Criminology (BA Hons).
