Ben Salmons

Ben joined us in 2021. His responsibilities include working on trustee clients, managing relationships with advisers, being part of the risk transfer team, journey planning and general day-to-day scheme work.

Ben began his pensions career in 2011 at Capita, where he worked in the pensions administration team. More recently, he worked at Broadstone from 2013 as an actuarial consultant, undertaking actuarial valuations, factor reviews, accounting disclosures, member calculations, trustee meetings and other actuarial work. He also has experience beyond actuarial work and has been actively involved in investment consulting, various aspects of defined contribution (DC), scheme secretarial, member clinics and employee engagement.

Outside of work, Ben’s interests include music, supporting Sheffield United, and spending time with his wife and two daughters!
