Joining us in August 2024, Amanda supports a range of clients with their governance, pensions secretarial and project work.

Background

Amanda’s career in pensions began at AXA, where she worked initially in their quotations department, covering all life and defined contribution (DC) pension calculations. She then moved on to their DC pensions administration team, which saw her involved in the ‘cradle to grave’ administration of their personal and group pension products.

After 20 years at AXA, 2006 saw Amanda move to Aon as an actuarial technician, before becoming an associate consultant on their secretarial and governance team. As well as providing support and acting as scheme secretary for several trustee boards, Amanda was involved in managing the successful transfers of four schemes into the Pension Protection Fund and the Financial Assistance Scheme.

More recently, Amanda’s interest in investments and achieving the best outcomes for members saw her joining Aon’s investment team as a technical analyst. It’s there she worked on lots of different pension schemes of varying sizes, ranging from the small (with 28 members) to very large (with assets from c£5bn).

In her spare time, Amanda enjoys walking, gardening, spending time with her family and friends, and reading.
