Becky Wood

Becky has over 15 years’ experience in the pensions industry, a decade of which has been in professional trusteeship.

Background

Joining us in 2020, Becky bought with her a natural leadership to trustee boards, where she acts as a chair, sole trustee and co-trustee on a wide range of pension schemes, of varying size and maturity.

Becky has vast experience in agreeing long term objectives with sponsors, end-game planning and execution, including buy-ins, buyouts, scheme wind ups and dealing with the complexities which may arise. She also has significant experience from working on a number of risk settlements.

Becky started her career in pensions as a pensions lawyer for Wragge & Co (now Gowling WLG), before becoming an Associate at Pinsent Masons, then joining Steve Southern Trustees, who were later acquired by 20-20 Trustees (one of our founding companies).

In her spare time, Becky has an allotment which she visits to both relax and ‘attempt’ to grow things! She also runs her son’s football team, and loves cycling; taking her two boys out on bike rides. Any other spare time is spent walking her bulldog Ziggy, who is named after Ziggy Stardust, due to him having a part blue eye!

Qualifications

Law degree, qualified solicitor, Association of Professional Pension Trustees (APPT).
