Suzi Lowther

Suzi joined us in 2015. Her responsibilities include the development of communication strategies and creation of bespoke communications for pension scheme clients, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.

She started her career in 1995 advising trustees and employers on defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) pensions and broader employee benefits. Suzi qualified as an actuary, but quickly realised she would not follow the traditional actuarial career path. After holding roles at Hazell Carr, Punter Southall and Hargreaves Lansdown Corporate Solutions, Suzi founded a specialist communications consultancy in 2010, helping employers and pension schemes develop effective communication strategies. She was one of the first to introduce nudge communications into UK pensions.

Suzi is an experienced non-executive director (NED), sitting on main group and subsidiary boards in industries outside of pensions. Her actuarial training and risk management expertise have been put to particularly good use on audit and assurance committees.

Away from work, Suzi can usually be found on a beach walking her alpacas or in the garden battling swathes of rampant verbena.
