Nicole has a varied client portfolio of both sole trustee and co-trustee appointments. Her role includes all aspects of strategic trustee work, alongside day-to-day pension scheme management and governance. As well as helping our clients, Nicole leads our internal board effectiveness service line.
Background
Nicole joined us in 2023, bringing with her strong communication and organisational skills and an exceptional eye for detail. She has a proven track record of building strong relationships and bringing stakeholders together to develop pragmatic solutions.
Beginning her pensions career in 2013 with Hymans Robertson, Nicole trained and qualified as a pensions actuary, working on a range of trustee and corporate clients. She also gained valuable experience in pension scheme management and governance, as lead consultant on two large appointments.
Nicole is passionate about equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), an area she has proactively driven forward throughout her career and continues to contribute to with us.
Outside of work, Nicole can often be found treading the boards of the Edinburgh amateur musical theatre scene. She also loves to travel, spending two months travelling around South America before joining us. When back at home, she plays in a local samba band, so she can pretend she’s still in Brazil!
Qualifications
Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA), Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FFA), Masters in Mathematics (MMath).
