Kevin Kenneally

Kevin chairs the pension schemes for several multinational organisations, charities and medium sized companies. He also sits on our internal adviser review and training service lines.

Kevin started his pensions career with us in 2002 having previously worked as an expat tax consultant at Deloitte. His role was to consult on technical issues which gave him a clear understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework of pensions and a firm grounding in governance and risk management issues.

With an extensive knowledge and experience of all aspects of running pension schemes, Kevin chairs a large range of schemes, either as part of a larger trustee body or sole trustee. His schemes cover numerous benefit types and sponsor sectors and he has taken them through valuation negotiations, investment strategy reviews and risk management exercises.

Kevin has taken a leading role in projects to manage trustee effectiveness, improve data and benefit quality and pension scheme liabilities. These projects have included closures to future accrual, incentive exercises, alternative funding arrangements and buy-out readiness.

Outside of work, Kevin enjoys travelling, outdoor pursuits including kayaking, cycling and hiking, photography and following Munster Rugby.

Honours degree in Politics & International Relations, Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute (FPMI), Accredited Professional Trustee (PTPMI).
