Kat Scourfield

Kat joined us in 2021, having left the pensions industry for 2 years to work as a project manager. However, she soon realised that pensions was her calling after all, undertaking secretarial and governance tasks for clients as well as contributing expertise internally for governance and defined contribution pension scheme work. Her recent focus has been on the general code of practice, helping to develop policies and procedures to ensure trustee boards can demonstrate an effective system of governance.

Beginning her pensions career in 2013 at Trigon Pensions (now XPS) as a consultancy services administrator, Kat quickly progressed through the ranks into a pensions consultant role. She also managed the consultancy team support staff.

As well as her secretarial and governance services, Kat is involved in various projects where she can draw on experience gained during her time as a project manager.

Kat enjoys travelling to destinations where she can go white water rafting, hiking or snorkelling.
