Background
Karen joined us in 2023 from Virgin Money where she worked in the internal pension governance team, supporting the trustees on business-as-usual activity and a variety of projects. She currently provides secretarial and governance services for several clients as well as supporting trustees on large scheme projects.
She began her pensions career in 1990 with Scottish Amicable as a pensions administrator. Over the years, Karen has developed her pensions knowledge working for several different companies including Aon and Hymans Robertson.
Karen has experience in managing pension administration projects, from implementing new schemes to managing them through the wind-up process and everything in between.
Outside of pensions, Karen is currently studying with the Open University for a degree in Spanish.
Qualifications
Associate of the Pensions Management Institute (APMI), Diploma in Higher Education.
