Background
Jill joined us in 2014. She works with trust-based pension schemes, specialising in final salary defined benefit (DB) arrangements. Her varied work includes trustee secretarial, scheme governance and member communications along with trustee discretions on death in service cases. In addition to her scheme secretary role Jill also supports our professional trustees.
Jill started her pensions career in 1989 in administration at Mercer, before moving to HSBC Benefit Consultants, which included a secondment to a client’s site as their pensions officer for over three years.
Prior to Vidett, Jill spent 10 years with Aon and over 5 years with Punter Southall, where she acted as scheme secretary for many of her pension administration clients.
Outside of work, Jill enjoys walking in her spare time, and has completed the #walk1000miles challenge in 2021, 2022 and 2023!
Qualifications
HND (Business Studies), BA (Hons) Economics, Qualification in Pensions Administration (QPA), D33 (QPA assessor qualification), Retirement Provision Certificate, PMI part qualified.
