James Duggan

James joined us in 2016. His responsibilities include leading several of our sole trustee schemes, many of whom are looking to secure their benefits with an insurer as part of a buy-in or buyout. He also acts as the chair of trustees for other schemes, including on hybrid arrangements.

Beginning his pensions career in 2010 with Punter Southall James worked as part of the actuarial team. During this time, he was involved in triennial actuarial valuations, individual member calculations and producing member communications.

James is a keen sportsman and particularly enjoys playing and watching football, in addition to watching tennis and Formula 1. He is also a qualified scuba diver with over 200 dives under his belt to date. He also enjoys spending time with his young family and can often be seen frequenting local soft plays and parks at weekends!
