Background
Before joining us in February 2024, Azka had a 15 year career in consulting with Mercer, where her most recent role saw her practising as a scheme actuary advising trustees, as well leading several projects for corporate clients. Azka held various roles including local wealth leader for Birmingham. She also completed a secondment with the World Economic Forum in 2022/23 on the topic of living longer lives, better.
Azka is the regional leader for the Midlands for Vidett. She is a professional trustee across DB, DC and CDC schemes. She is keen to raise standards in trusteeship and building trusted relationships across advisers and sponsors.
Away from her day job, Azka is preparing her two children for university life. She loves to cook and to balance it off, enjoys Zumba, walking and cycling.
Qualifications
Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, Charted Management Institute Certificate in Management and Leadership, BSc (Hons) in Financial & Actuarial Math, Dublin City University, Professional Pensions 2020 Mentor of the Year.
