Background
Avril has spent the majority of her career in regulated financial services. She held a number of associate-level banking roles at Citibank and Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi before spending 11 years as a Senior Corporate Banker at RBS/NatWest. During this time, she was responsible for managing key banking relationships and developing new business opportunities across a portfolio of large corporate clients in the Retail, Leisure and Consumer Industries sectors.
She subsequently moved into programme management and operational leadership, delivering several large-scale conduct, complaint remediation and business transformation programmes within the banking sector.
Outside of work, Avril enjoys spending time with family and friends and supports a large regional charity, where she serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees.
