Gerald Wellesley, our client director here at Vidett, will be joining Net Zero Investor and their guest list of speakers for their defined contribution forum taking place in London at the London Stock Exchange on Wednesday 31st January.
The session entitled ‘What role will LTAFs play in a net zero transition for DC?’ will see Gerald joined by Tim Horne (head of UK institutional defined contribution, Schroders), Joanna Sharples (chief investment officer, DC solutions, AON) and Jonathan Lawlor (Senior Consultant – Investment, XPS Pensions Group).
Speaking ahead of the event, Gerald commented: “This conference lays out the current DC agenda with respect to climate change. The Mansion House speech is driven by a political agenda that positions climate change as a somewhat parallel issue and the integration of a broader asset class set into DC is fraught with structural and legal issues. I will speak on a panel that looks into LTAFs, the new government endorsed investment structure whilst the rest of the conference looks at a broader range of issues confronting DC schemes as they pursue climate friendly investment approaches.”
