London: How AI can impact the role of pensions managers and trustees
Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming more commonplace, with a recent survey finding that pension schemes are expected to have “widely adopted” AI within the next ten years. This practical session gives an overview of the topic, explores how some service providers to pension schemes are already using AI and how they might use it in the future. We will also highlight how AI can impact your role as trustees, as well as considering potential risks and how to manage them.

In this session the team will discuss moving to a master trust, governance committees, VaR, CDC, decumulation. These topics will highlight the future of pensions, what this looks like for scheme members and how good governance produces better outcomes for everyone involved.
In our last session, we’ll share our final thoughts on the key activities discussed. With what seems to be a year of consultations, statements and draft bills, we’ll help you to prioritise your scheme and employer actions and leave you with our recommended “to do list” for Autumn 2025.
