Background

Ken joined us in 2021 as a client director. He is a pensions and benefits specialist with deep technical knowledge and practical experience.

Ken began his pensions career in 1989 as group pensions manager for S.G. Warburg Group, plc, later part of UBS AG. In 1999 he then became global head of pensions & benefits for ABN AMRO Bank NV in charge of policy and change for all group pensions and benefit schemes in 61 countries.

Prior to joining us, Ken was responsible for the pension strategy of the Post Office from 2011. He moved them from being part of the Royal Mail pension plan to their own independent arrangements. He was later appointed as the head of pensions and benefits for SEGRO plc in 2015. Here Ken managed the buy-out of all defined benefit (DB) schemes and pensions in Europe.

In his spare time, Ken is a keen traveller, especially of the USA… with now 51 return flights with BA alone! When doing so, he’s generally in search of the best IPA beer and restaurants!
